Jeanne Barno, M.A., CCC-A
Jeanne Barno joined our practice in August 2009. Ms. Barno received her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She received her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from the Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. She was privileged to participate in an externship at the Millridge Hearing Impaired School. While at Millridge, she gained experience in diagnostic testing and fitting hearing aids and FM systems on children with diverse hearing impairments. She received her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology after completing a Fellowship in Fort Pierce, Florida, working as a consultant audiologist for St. Lucie County Schools.
Ms. Barno has been a member of the American Speech-Language/Hearing Association for twenty-six years and is currently a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology.
Ms. Barno enjoys working in an ENT setting because of the diversity of patient ages and complaints of hearing and balance that she encounters. Over the years, she has gained knowledge and skills for evaluating hearing and balance problems.

Amy R. Britt, M.Ed., CCC-A
Amy R. Britt joined NEGA Otolaryngology in January of 2013. Mrs. Britt received her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 1993 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She received her Masters of Education in Audiology in 1995 from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
After receiving her Master’s Degree, she worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice ENT offices, medical hospital settings, and the VA hospital in Nashville, TN. While in these settings, she has gained valuable experience working with children and adults for services including diagnostics, hearing aids, vestibular and balance testing, and hearing conservation. While at the Nashville VA hospital, she also worked as a research audiologist monitoring the effects of chemotherapy medications on the hearing of veterans with certain types of cancer.
Mrs. Britt is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and a member of the American Academy of Audiology as well as the Georgia Academy of Audiology. While not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children through a variety of outdoor activities and is an active member of her church.

Chris Moor, Au.D., CCC-A
Christopher Moor has 18 years of professional experience as an audiologist. He received his Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Utah in 1997 and his Doctor of Audiology Degree from the University of Florida in 2003. He practiced in the Pacific Northwest before moving to Georgia in 2014.
Dr. Moor has experience in all aspects of hearing aid dispensing as well as dizziness and balance evaluation. In his spare time he enjoys listening to and playing music, reading, and spending time with family.

Mary Byrd, AuD, CCC-A
Mary Byrd, AuD, CCC-A joined the practice in June 2019. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia in 2015 and her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from the Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium in 2019. She has experience in a variety of settings and enjoys providing comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid services, and balance assessment to our patients.
Mary is licensed to practice audiology in Georgia and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Mary enjoys working in ENT because she loves to help patients of all ages and stages of life with their hearing and balance concerns.
In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with her dog, Stanley, and exploring beautiful Northeast Georgia.
Lisa Downey, Audiologist Assistant
Lisa Downey joined our practice in October of 2016 as a back office Medical Assistant. Working closely with Physicians and patients daily encouraged her to become an Audiology Assistant to continue helping patients with their hearing health and hearing aids. She completed her certification in Amplification from Nova Southeastern University in March of 2018. Lisa is able to help patient’s trouble shoot hearing aid performance and minor hearing aid repairs in the Braselton office.
In her time away from the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and fur babies, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and flower/vegetable gardening.

Julie Segars, Audiologist Assistant
Julie Segars joined the practice in 1996. She completed her certification as an Audiologist’s Assistant in Amplification from Nova Southeastern University in July of 2015. Julie is licensed as a Audiologist Assistant by the State of Georgia Board for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. Her experience with patients at Northeast Georgia Otolaryngology encouraged her to seek certification in audiology to continue helping patients with hearing loss.
Julie is able to help patients troubleshoot hearing aid performance and repair minor hearing aid malfunctions in the Gainesville office.
