A hearing evaluation is the first step in diagnosing your individual needs and allows us to gather information to create your own unique hearing solution. It enables us to determine both where you are hearing well, and where hearing devices might best serve you. The tests performed during your hearing evaluation may vary, and are used to determine the extent, type, and details of your unique hearing loss.
After your evaluation is complete, your audiologist will review your results in detail. We use this time to educate each patient about their specific type of hearing impairment, and we make honest recommendations based on our findings and your specific needs.
You’ll be pleased to know that we won’t ever rush you out the door; our audiologists take the time that’s needed to ensure you understand all of your options and can make the best decision for your budget, lifestyle, and priorities.
Our audiologists at Northeast Georgia ENT recognize that hearing loss can impact more than just you, so we encourage you to bring a family member or loved one to your evaluation. This creates the opportunity to discover solutions that work well for your entire family.
